Well there is not much to report. Thank goodness!

Ernesto was downgraded to a tropical storm. It would be so easy to slam the weather team and networks. However, we are fortunate with today’s technology to be notified that a hurricane is coming and pretty much when. I’m thankfull that we didn’t have the weather predicted. Hurricane Katrina’s devastation of New Orleans was a real wake up call for me.

My good friend Jeffrey’s grandmother used to say ‘That we know not the day or the hour”. So true.

Tomorrow morning we are expecting Hurricane Ernesto. So far reports are that it will be a class 1 hurricane. Which isn’t bad… unless it is. It seems there really is no way of knowing for sure which hurricane will do the most damage. So far they are saying that Hurricane Ernesto will be more likely to cause flooding.  But no one really knows for sure.

In any event, we are prepared.  I have updated the site with some info. And I have shipped all the open orders.  On the home front, my husband Celest has secured the trampoline, screwed on the hurricane shudders.  And tonight we will wash all the laundry. The cars are gassed up. The generator gas tanks are full. The refridgerator is stocked. We are a prepared as we can be.
