Ok, kind of a strong statement to make about a piece of fabric. But it is true!

My love affair with Prefold diapers began when my oldest son was about a year old. A friend gave me 2 dozen Prefold diapers from her overstocked diaper stash. They were bleached Chinese Prefolds. So much softer and cushier that the disposable diapers I had been using. I figured I had to try them.

Well, I have never turned back. They were so simple, so basic that they were beautiful. No muss no fuss. No fancy prints or embellishments just beautiful soft cotton.

Healthier Seven Layer Cookies

Here’s a recipe for an old classic with a few twists and turns to make it healthier!

1/2 stick organic butter or 1/4 cup coconut oil
1 cup crushed whole grain crackers or graham crackers
1 bag organic chocolate chips
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped dried apricots or cranberries (or other dried fruit of choice)
1 cup organic milk
1 cup chopped walnuts

In a square or small oblong glass pan, melt the butter in the oven while it preheats
at 350. Or, if you are using coconut oil, pour the oil evenly into the pan.
